For our client, primary company operating in the renewable field, we are looking for:


You will collaborate with the R&D design team in defining the specifications, build samples, test and verify the design from a performance, thermal and reliability point of view of all the magnetics inside AC/DC and DC/DC converters.

Your responsibilities:

  • You support Hifreq Transformers, Inductors and Filter design providing and maintaining all the documentation related to Magnetic components.
  • You have a cost driven approach on the design, helping to select the best balance between costs and performance in collaboration with sourcing managers and suppliers.
  • You build manually prototypes for a preliminary validation of the design.
  • You support subcontractors and guarantees the on time delivery of Magnetics components from the first prototype to preproduction volumes.
  • You write and maintain the technical documentation related to Magnetic components and support the Product safety certification according to EN and UL standards.
  • You look for new technologies and materials and has a clear interest in industrial processes and innovation.
  • You have a daily relationship with suppliers and subcontractors, tracking shipment, orders and being accountable for delivering samples and services from the Magnetic design Lab to the R&D and production department.

Experience and Qualification:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics or Physics with 1/2 years of design experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Electronics, Power conversion topologies, filters, EMC reduction strategies.
  • Fluently English speaking, available to travel abroad.
  • Being familiar with 3D Cad tools (Solid Edge) and FEM simulators is a plus.


Place of work: Toscana (Firenze/Arezzo).

We offer a permanent contract with remuneration commensurate with the experience gained in the role.
