For our client, primary company operating in the renewable field, we are looking for:


He/She will report to Quality Manager and lead the Supplier Quality Team.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Support Quality and Operations by ensuring that materials and components provided by suppliers and sub-contractors meet specifications and quality requirements;
  • Lead the supplier Quality team in the definition of the incoming inspections and tests; lead and follow-up the CAPA process (corrective action preventive action);
  • Report and monitor supplier quality issues and performance trends in accordance with the Quality Management System.
  • Define the inspection and testing procedures on materials and components delivered by suppliers and sub-contractor to verify conformity to drawings and quality standards;
  • Define the suppliers and sub-contractors audit plan;
  • Lead the investigation of supplier’s quality issues;
  • Ensure that all nonconforming reports are properly recorded and managed;
  • Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (ISO9001);
  • Support the production Quality team to sort and select nonconforming parts;
  • Manage the First Article Inspection process to approve a new material or a new supplier, together with the Product Engineering and the Supply Chain Management team;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Your background:
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronical, mechanical is preferred);
  • At least 3 years of professional working experience in similar role with similar responsibilities;
  • Fluency in Italian and English;  
  • Quality Management system (ISO9001);
  • Lead auditing (ISO19011)
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
  • Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
  • Six Sigma and Statistical process control techniques
  • Dealing with Problem Solving (5W+2H, Ishikawa, 5 whys)
  • Electrical and mechanical measurements
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes

Place of work: Toscana (Firenze/Arezzo)

We offer a permanent contract with remuneration commensurate with the experience gained in the role.
